EarlyGameEarly game consist of mostly just poking and confirming/denying souls, and gauging how much the enemy team is going to let me get away with. This build plays like a gun build up until you get max level cart. I get the abilities bell > door > cart because bell is good for early game poke, door is good for stealing farm when it spawns and escaping if you need to, and cart last because you usually don’t get value out of it early on. I put 1 AP into bell because you usually need the extra bell, be it for more early game poking or after you fully upgraded cart and had to finish somebody off after your cart > heavy melee > headshot booster combo. Once I get door I always leave a Safety Door™ around so I can escape/kidnap. Once I have a Safety Door™ setup I start playing a bit riskier but most of the time I'm just assisting what my lane partner is doing while poking with bell and occasionally throwing out carts for some extra damage or kidnapping. Once I fully upgrade cart I can play even riskier because of the stun giving me a free heavy melee and some stupid kidnapping opportunities. Don’t be afraid to buy the green items first, sometimes I only have like “High Velocity Rounds” and then “Extra Regen”, “Grit”, and “Melee Lifesteal”. Boxing is good and ganking is also good, I recommend trying to steal enemy farm whenever you can. Make sure to pay attention to enemy items as if someone has debuff reducing items like “Debuff Reducer” and “Weighted Shots” the time it takes them to recover from your cart stun is faster, in turn making it harder to get a heavy melee off.
MidGameMid game is usually just assisting where I can or jumping people when possible. I always leave a Safety Door™ at a walker or nearby when I’m roaming and I place a door out for people pushing up walkers or if they are over extending to give them an out. It’s really good to get into the habit of consistently doing this. Be very mobile with your door placements. Knowing some door placements can let you reliably steal enemy doubles and other farm. During this point in the game you most likely don’t have door range to kidnap, so I recommend leaving after you get the souls, though if you do have door range, kidnapping is a great option.
LateGameLate game… If you’re winning, great! If you’re losing, uhhgghghghghghhghghg. At this point you can pivot to a more kidnappy build with "Vortex Web", though you could also get any of the dmg increasing items like “Boundless Spirit” or “Glass Cannon”. If you are having trouble catching people (they’re airborne or just barely out of reach) “Phantom Strike” can be a great buy. At this point make sure you are moving your team around the map. Mid pit? Place a door out. Sieging base? Place a door out. A random scuffle on blue lane? Place a door out. Don’t be afraid to fight, but do be afraid of having no exit. You can do great dmg and assist your teammates with your door, so try to find a balance of doing both.
